Fan Fest

Fan Fest was an official Happy Tree Friends playlist available on the Atom iteration of the show's website until the late 2012 revamp. The playlist was dedicated to a few Happy Tree Friends fan work officially acknowledged by Mondo. It began on December 8, 2009 with the promotion of Eddie Tse's (ctse2007)'s piano version of the show's theme song.

The Fan Fest playlist was one of the ways the show officially acknowledges fan-made content, as similar acknowledgements were done in the past albeit more limited in variety (mostly fan-made artwork).

Presenting All Work and No Belay

This one is radically different compared to my first 2 fan-animations. Compared to the slow paced, but surprise filled Tools for Fools, or the colourful, flowing When You Fish Upon a Star, this one is more sharp, and to the point, with many lightning quick deaths following seconds after one another. The background might be quite bland as I'm taking a mountaineous setting, but it is compensated by its focus on the animation itself.

Blink, and possibly you'll miss a death, so DON'T BLINK!!!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Happy Tree Friends. Happy Tree Friends belongs to Mondo Media. This is only a fanmade episode. Also, the original characters are also owned by Mondo Media.

Music is El Hambo, and Bear Hugger's theme from Punchout

Trivia[edit]

  • 444memestreet, creator of Nyan Nyan Cuddles, would later upload other Happy Tree Friends-themed meme spoofs such as GANGNAM HAPPY TREE FRIENDS STYLE and Harlem Shake - Happy Tree Friends Version, the latter of which was later released officially under the name Hot Tub Shake about two years later on MondoMedia's YouTube channel and about five years later on the official Mondo website. However, despite sharing the same animation, the music used in the official release is different as it uses original music by MethaPhorce Beats[1] unique to this short.
    • According to Hot Tub Shake's description on YouTube, the animation was originally made by the Happy Tree Friends creators a long time ago but was never uploaded properly. Whether 444memestreet is one of the creators in disguise or not is yet to be confirmed, not helped by Hot Tub Shake's description also mentioning "Harlem Shake", which was the inspiration for the animation.
