Smoochies are interactive short clips mainly focusing on one Happy Tree Friends character each. A Smoochie has a unique theme and is framed with a graphic reminiscent of Tamagotchi virtual pet devices. The featured character has two idle animations which play as he/she waits for user input, which is in the form of one of the three buttons located on the right-hand side of the frame. Pressing a button will play a short scene related to said button's label (for example, the "Feed" option in Cuddles' Pet Smoochie will place a carrot for Cuddles to eat). All scenes will always end with the featured character dying, at which point the user may reset the scene to its default state by pressing the only button labeled "Reset". The first eight Smoochies focusing on Cuddles, Giggles, Toothy, Petunia, Sniffles, Pop, Flaky, and Nutty were released on 2003, some debuting earlier in either Happy Tree Friends: Volume #1: First Blood or Happy Tree Friends: Second Serving DVD before being published to the official Happy Tree Friends website, while the last three Smoochies focusing on Cub, Disco Bear, and Mime were released on the official website on 2008. The first eight Smoochies were later re-released with the similar frame design as the latter three starting from early 2008 with the re-release of Toothy's Easter Smoochie on March 17, 2008. Smoochies also come in non-interactive video format, available on the official MondoMedia website or YouTube. This version forgoes the themed frames and simply plays through all the idle animations and options in one clip, with the scene being reset automatically between options. == List of Smoochies == === Cuddles' Pet Smoochie === Cuddles' Pet Smoochie Cuddles' Pet Smoochie is the very first Happy Tree Friends Smoochie ever releasedNo approximate release date for the web version known yet..
